Innovation in connection.

Built by a clinician, for clinicians.

Our Story

Lumirah was founded on a simple observation: the most important conversations in medicine happen when a patient can see their clinician's eyes.

Professor Graham Barrett, an ophthalmologist, saw the irony. The very technology meant to connect us was breaking the most fundamental human signal of trust and attention. Every video call forced a choice: look at the screen to see your patient, or look at the camera to meet their eyes. Never both.

So he built something to fix it. Using a patented beam-splitter optical system, iVi eliminates the trade-off entirely. You see the screen. Your patient sees your eyes. Connection restored.

Four decades of published research back him up.

Physician turned entrepreneur. Mike has led healthcare teams in Silicon Valley and Australia. His career has been about turning data and clinical innovation into products, and iVi is the latest.

Our Values

Innovation

We solve problems with physics and engineering, not workarounds. iVi’s beam-splitter is a fundamentally different approach to eye contact, and it works.

Empathy

We build for the people who spend their days listening, observing, and caring. Every design decision starts with the clinician and their patient.

Precision

From optical engineering to software calibration, we hold ourselves to the standards our users hold themselves to: clinical-grade, every time.

Australian-designed. Globally delivered.

With offices in Perth, Australia and Las Vegas, United States.

Join us in restoring human connection.
